Your TEDx Hosts;
Eric Greenspan, Make It Work
Mark Sylvester, introNetworks
Kymberlee Weil, introNetworks
On the 10th of October 2010, the inaugural TEDxAmericanRiviera in Santa Barbara, California was held at the world-class Bacara Resort and Spa.
Thanks to our attendees, speakers and volunteers.
For those of you that attended our inaugural event, thank you for your enthusiastic support and good wishes. We at Make It Work, introNetworks and 74 Degrees are extremely proud of the final program, our amazing speakers, the logistical support of our volunteers and AV crew and the thoughtful and engaged audience of locals and many who traveled thousands of miles to attend. We thank you for so many emails since the event with encouragement, suggestions, and comments that make all the hard work worth while.
Our program was very ambitious, 18 speakers in 3 sessions, yet we had a tremendous amount of variety of topics, length of talks, short, medium and the standard TED 18 minute variety. We will be posting the videos, a few at a time, as we get them edited. Please subscribe to this site so you will be informed when they are posted.
This video, created for TEDxAmericanRiviera, showcases the immense talent of designer Stefan Bucher (DailyMonster.com). In this animation he uses timelapse photography to show how he created a monster for TEDx and how that monster then reveals the date of next years TEDxAmericanRiviera.
